We were hosts to Acton Trussell & Penkridge Photographic Society in an Inter Club Battle consisting of 10 prints and 10 digital images from each Club. The battle was judged by John Cartlidge EFIAP/g of Cannock Photographic Society. The print section was won by Walsall Wood, who scored 172 points to Acton Trussell's score of 155 Points. Only one print was awarded the maximum score of 20 points which was "Lonely Meal" by Dave Tucker of Walsall Wood. The digital image section was also won by Walsall Wood who scored 171 points to Acton Trussell's score of 160 points. Only one digital image was awarded the maximum score of 20 points which was "Shafts of Light" by John Smith of Walsall Wood. Overall the battle was won by Walsall Wood who scored a combined total of 343 points to Acton Trussell's combined total of 315 points.

Handsworth Photographic Society were our hosts to an Inter Club Battle for the Ron Hughes Memorial Trophy. The battle consisted of 15 prints and 15 digital images from each Club and was judged by David Venables DPAGB who is a member of Solihull Photographic Society. The print section was won by Walsall Wood who scored 260 points to Handsworth's score of 249 points. The digital images section was also won by Walsall Wood who scored 213 points to Handsworth's score of 182 points. Overall the Battle was won by Walsall Wood who scored a combined total of 473 points to Handsworth's combined total of 431 points. Three prints were awarded the maximum score of 20 points. They were "Early Spring" from Handsworth and "Lonely Meal" and Woodland Mist" from Walsall Wood. Only one digital image was awarded the maximum score of 20 points which was "Shafts of Light" from Walsall Wood.

Great Barr Photographic Society were our hosts to an Inter Club Battle consisting of 15 prints and 15 digital images from each Club. The battle was judged by Tery Bickley AFIAP, DPAGB. The print section was won by Great Barr who scored 278 points to Walsall Wood's score of 274 points. Four prints were awarded the maximum score of 20 points. They were "Pier on South Coast" from Great Barr" and "Lonely Meal", "Frosty Tree" and "Woodland Mist" from Walsall Wood. The digital images section was also won by Great Barr who scored 270 points to Walsall Wood's score of 266 points. Three digital images were awarded the maximum score of 20 points. They were "Meditation" and "Forth Road Bridge" from Great Barr and "Steam Power" from Walsall Wood. Overall the Battle was won by Great Barr who scored a combined total of 548 points to Walsall Wood's combined total of 540 points.

We were hosts to Handsworth Photographic Society in an Inter Club Battle for the Ron Hughes Trophy consisting of 10 prints and 10 digital images from each Club. The battle was judged by John Haines of Great Barr Photographic Society. The print section was won by Handsworth, who scored 160 points to Walsall Wood's score of 158 Points. Only one print was awarded the maximum score of 20 points. This was "Monica" by Ken Hudson of Handsworth. Walsall Wood had two prints each scoring 19 points. These were "In Charge" by Derek Forster and "Jet Skier" by Adrian North. The digital image section was also won by Handsworth who scored 162 points to Walsall Wood's score of 157 points. Only one digital image was awarded the maximum score of 20 points. This was "Early Morning" by J. Hurley of Handsworth. Walsall Wood's highest scoring digital image with 18 points was "The Smoking Area" by Dave Deeming. Overall the battle and the Ron Hughes Trophy were won by Handsworth who scored a combined total of 322 points to Walsall Wood's combined total of 315 points.
