September 2011
6th A chance for old and new members to meet after the summer break and to have an in depth look at the programme for the coming season. In addition, club member Graham Vernon will show us some of his award winning nature prints.
13th Club member John Hunt ARPS will explain basic camera exposure using aperture values and shutter speeds and how they affect depth of field in the resulting image. He will also show us how to save our digital images in files and folders.

20th "Print Merit Competition (Third Round)" to be judged by John Bissell
27th 35th Annual General Meeting.

October 2011
4th "Here, There and Everywhere". A print evening with Kim Bowen DPAGB, AFIAP and Dave Bowen DPAGB, AFIAP which will feature sport, nature, landscape, portrait and general photography. Kim and Dave are sponsored by Pinacle Photographic Papers of Leicester and this will be their first visit to our club.
6th (Thursday) We visit Great Barr Photographic Society to take part in a print and digital image inter-club competition.
11th "Twenty Odd Years at Tettenhall Wood Photographic Society". A talk by John White EFIAP, BPE3, CPAGB who will be showing us his outstanding landscape photography.
18th The club holds a social evening where we can chat about photographic things in general and also be entertained by club members Paul and Gill Wallis who take us on their digital travels.
25th A demonstration by Sue Luteman on how to make an Audio Visual Presentation using Pictures to Exe software. An audio visual slide show made easy where you will see how to combine sound with your digital images.
26th (Wednesday) We visit Handsworth Photographic Society to take part in a print and digital image inter-club competition for the late Ron Hughes memorial trophy.

November 2011
1st We host a print and digital image inter-club competition against Acton Trussell and Penkridge Photographic Society to be judged by John Cartlidge EFIAP/G.

8th "Projected Image Merit Competition (Third Round)" to be judged by Richard Brown FRPS, APAGB, EFIAP.
15th "PG Tips - My Way". A projected image talk by Peter Gennard MFIAP, EFIAP/p illustrating some before and after (manipulated) images. Peter's talk will cover a wide range of subject matter.

22nd "Print Merit Competition (Fourth Round)" to be judged by Roger Hague DPAGB.
29th Tony Thomas EFIAP will be showing some of his excellent film slides and show us how to find suitable subject matter for our photographs. An evening not to be missed for anyone interested in film slide photography.

December 2011
6th "Projected Image Merit Competition (Fourth Round)" to be judged by Graham Walton CPAGB. This is the first time Graham has judged a competition at our Club.
13th Earlier in the season Sue Luteman came to our club to show us how to make an Audio Visual slide show. Sue is now returning to show us some of her own Audio Visual presentations.
20th There will be no meeting held at the Club venue this week. All of us at Walsall Wood Camera Club wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.

January 2012
3rd Members Evening. Audio Visual Presentations with Tim Merrick and John Withnall.
10th "An Intoduction into Creative Photography" with Tony Winfield. Tony demonstrates his technique with the help of digital images and audio visual presentations.

17th "Print of the Year Competition" to be judged by Ralph Duckett MPAGB, EFIAP, APAGB. This is the highlight of our print year where members select the best of their monochrome and colour prints from the past year's Print Worker of the Year merit competitions

24th "Projected Image of the Year Competition" to be judged by John Hartshorne LRPS DPAGB. This is the highlight of our year of projected images where members select the best of their digital images and film slides from the past year's Projected Image Worker of the Year merit competitions.
31st "Ink Expressions". Midlands photographer John Cartlidge EFIAP/g shows us his latest print lecture. John is sponsored by Ink Express of Wolverhampton.

February 2012
7th A print evening with Keith Burgoyne ARPS who will be presenting some of his latest prints.
14th A fun evening where club members challenge the club's committee to a print competition.
21st "Following in Father's Footsteps" with Ian Hodgkiss ARPS, CPAGB. Ian likes to keep things simple and to use the computer as a means to an end. Ian is sponsored by Colour Confidence and this is his first visit to our club. Ian's father Graham, has lectured and judged at our club on many occasions in the past.
28th "We've Gone Digital". An audio visual presentation by Mike Hardwick DPAGB and Lavinia Hardwick DPAGB. A welcome return to our club for Mike and Lavinia who will be showing a series of audio visual presentations showing their progression into the digital world.

March 2012
6th Annual Dinner and Presentation Evening to be held at The Terrace Restaurant, Brownhills. (There will be no meeting at our club venue on this evening)
13th "Some of my Wilder Moments". A digital presentation by Dr. R. A. Harding showing us his travels through Great Britain, North America and Africa. This is Dr. Harding's first visit to our Club.

27th We host a print and digital image inter-club competition against Handsworth Photographic Society for the late Ron Hughes memorial trophy to be judged by David Venables DPAGB

April 2011
3rd Practical Evening. A demonstration of how to produce a digital panel of prints or montage for use in a competition to be held later in the year.

Handing in night for the print competition to be held in two weeks time.
10th No Meeting. Happy Easter everyone.
17th "Print Merit Competition (First Round)" to be judged by Peter Clark FRPS, EFIAP/g.
24th John Hartshorne LRPS DPAGB brings along a selection of his prints and explains how make a choice of printing paper to suit the image being printed. John is sponsored by the Fotospeed lecture service.
30th (Monday) We visit Walsall Photographic Society to take part in a print and digital image inter-club competition.

May 2012
1st A member's evening where club members Steph Forster, Audrey jackson, Chris Orgill, Graham Orgill and Harry Jackman show us some of their work.
8th We host an inter-club competition against Trent Valley Photographic Society. This will be a print only competition where both clubs will enter 15 prints each from their respective advanced workers and 15 prints each from their respective intermediate workers. The competition will be judged by Graham Hodgkiss ARPS, AFIAP, MPAGB, APAGB . Graham is sponsored by Colour Confidence.

22nd The club will be holding a social evening details of which will be provided in due course.
29th Ray Joel will be taking us on another journey in Great Britain. Ray will not only be showing some of his excellent digital images but will also explain his thoughts that went into taking them and any post production techniques he has used.

5th "Print Merit Competition (Second Round)" to be judged by David McGuire FRPS.

Handing in night for the Cosmic Camera Digital Image Competition to be held in two week's time.
12th "How to take better Holiday Pictures". The summer holidays are nearly here so we are providing an opportunity for you to bring along your photographic failures for discussion and hopefully we can help you improve your holiday photographs.
19th Cosmic Camera Competition which will be judged by the club members present. The set subject for this year's competition is "Patterns".
26th Practical Evening. Further details to be announced in due course.

There are no meetings held at our Club venue during July and August. The first meeting of our 2012/2013 programme will be held on Tuesday 4th September 2012.
